REVIEW #10 — Jane and the Madness of Lord Byron

I finally got to a book I hadn’t read and of course, I wasn’t disappointed.  An interesting concept, having Jane and Byron meet.  And boy, was he scary weird.  Sort of like the Tom Jones of his era, with women throwing themselves and their underwear at him.  Only Tom Jones isn’t this creepy.

There was also a line where Byron admires Jane’s work that made me grin.  Just imagine how chuffed Jane would have been if she had actually heard this.

The murder is slow in happening and the depravity of the suspects is rather horrid to contemplate.  Makes Weiner-Gate just seem silly and juvenile.
